Ingredients

  

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Fresh turmeric grated /turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Freshly grated ginger
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Crushed black pepper
  • 1 tsp Raw honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Few slices Lemon slices

Instructions

 

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine turmeric, ginger, cinnamon stick, and black pepper with water.
  • Allow for at least 20 minutes of cooking time for the ingredients to permeate.
  • Strain the tea into a large glass with honey and serve it with lemon slices on the side.
