
Healthy chocolate peda
Celebrations in India are all about fun, frolic, food and can't be concluded without a dessert. If you have a sweet tooth, you must have been familiar with a peda, but have you tried a healthy chocolate peda? This peda can sweeten the day and also keep a check on your health.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetned milk powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup cashew powder
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup jaggery powder
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Instructions

n a nonstick pan, combine unsweetened milk powder, cashew powder, and milk.

Let it simmer for 2 minutes over low heat.

Now, stir in the jaggery and heat for a few minutes, or until the milk thickens.

Finally, add the cocoa powder, cardamom powder and simmer it for another 2-3 minutes, or until combined

Allow the mixture to cool under room temperature.

Mould them into your desired shapes.

Next, refrigerate these for 30 minutes to harden up.
