“Rather than obsessing over the very famous motichoor ladoos, why not try something different? A little nutritious, a little unconventional and a lot more tasty. Though this has been a traditional recipe for some parts of India, it is getting lost between healthy yoghurts and fruit salads. Let’s make til ladoos and relish this delicious treat.”
- 1 cup Sesame seeds (white or black)
- 1/2 cup Jaggery
- 1/2 cup Peanuts (without skin)
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
Dry and toast the sesame seeds for 2 minutes.
Finely grind the sesame seeds and peanuts.
Grind in the jaggery, melted ghee, and cardamom.
Combine all of the ingredients to make a dough.
Form lemon-sized balls and serve!
